IMO this sort of thing doesn't reflect well on a co for a couple of reasons.
1. Best quality management will be on top of both the books and the characters working for them and not let something like this slip through the cracks.
2. If an employee really believe in a co and their future with it, they won't do this sort of thing. Fraud is almost like the ultimate insider trade. It's like saying: "This co has no future, better grab as much as I can in the time that's left".
