it's what's called 'consolidation'. Normal after big price movements from an announcement with substance. You have pip traders who are making salary and trades set at profit exit selling and then you have medium to long term punters who buy (offsetting this selling) because they realise they don't need to make salary trading so after an announcement like yesterday are taking their positions, at the front of the queue
