IMO, I think 2 weeks might be a little fast.
This process that is mentioned in the announcement has not actually begun yet (that is to receive EOI), nor was there an indication for when it will begin, given in the AVQ announcement.
On top of that, the Ann. makes point that the Government will ensure that everything is done correctly and transparently and I can not imagine allowing any company only 5 days (give or take) to submit and EOI and then 5 days (give or take again) for the SIG to look over those EOI and then make a decision... Seems a bit rushed. Would also seem a bit unrealistic to expect other companies to move that fast and get their applications in for such a large and important development. That does not seem to allow for other companies to complete a significant amount of Due Diligence...
I could be wrong of course, but that seems hardly fair and transparent in my opinion.
This is still good news of course, at least we have been given some indication of the process involved.

For other companies to get their applications in , first they need to be invited ...none have only AVQ ....cheers
no new tender has been called as far as im aware.
