We only have 6 weeks or so to wait until first patients are dosed. We have waited this long.
I think we are waiting for a black or white. Does ISLA-101 stop dengue virus multiplying or not inside a human. If it can take the "head off" or "peak" off the virus in a treatment regime (avoiding hospitalisation) benefits are huge. If by taking ISLA-101 before going into a dengue hotspot you can avoid the virus taking hold in your body, also huge. Also the ability to work across all 4 strains. These are the key game changing questions. Hopefully we can get a fair sense of its capability by early 2025 which will potentially be huge.
