Pcockley - its nice to see that your post bagging GC has been moderated.
To clarify on the reason OCP and RJL/GC went to court, it was to determine the trigger point of the transfer notice. In OCP's original announcment when they came straight out and supportted the CSC bid, and to quote the "intention was to support the approval of the Proposal"... GC / RJL was contesting whether this was a trigger point for the Transfer Notice actually to kick in, and even though OCP could not actually sell the shares, the intention was there. Th other point was that GC was probably not consulted before OCP came out and made this statement and he possibly should have under the Pre-emption Deed.
It's all redundant now, considering GC lost, but this potentially could have gone either way.
