I dont know where so many are getting this from but the facts are,..New plants coming online in recent years have largely been balanced by old plants being retired. Over the past 20 years, 108 reactors were retired as 97 started operations.

Most reactors under construction or planned are in Asia mostly China which will not be buying Westen miners Uranium.

Here another fact large number of US reactors are Government subsidized when the Uranium price was $40 they are old reactors even though they got extension may not see that out economically with pressure from increase Uranium price.

US has only built one reactor in 20 years; they are waiting for the SMR which is still 10 years away.
