    I made that point specifically in my 5 points.. why not do co-generation which would be more energy efficient than doing a catalytic (must be) reaction at heat to then re-combust the products which will have further heat and entropy losses?

    It makes no physical sense.

    Furthermore, HPAL have worked effectively, but at what cost/tonne of product? Corrosive or reductive isn't an issue if you have a reasonably priced end product which factors in the costs associated.

    MY issue wasn't with the technical ability to make it happen, its with the practicality and cost. They have worked out how to form CO from waste. Big woopity-do if they can't do it for less than it costs to steam reform (which creates H2 as a nice product also)..
