Extension would be due to ASIC . The company only needs 3 shareholders to ring up saying they need more time due to some circumstance eg need more time to weigh up investment, overseas at closing date etc.. and generally the company will extend so they don't encounter the watch dog.. Think the order of fill goes like this . 1/ rights 2/ shortfall 3/ underwriter .. good luck .
