It is strange as the initial announcement seemed to be very rushed to me, as in they wanted it all signed and sealed fast. That made me think they had a deal waiting in the wings and they just needed to prove financial viability. Since then has a deal fallen through again?? The deal also seemed set up to make it as hard as possible for existing holders and by same token as easy as possible for hockings to increase holding due to non take up by those who couldnt raise cash fast enough. Strange it is now getting delayed.
If i was negative i would womder if whatever the reason for the rush has fallen through and now hocking is not so keen to take up so many, hence delay. Surely once the deal is announced asic could have no further involvement in causing delays as they signed off on original quick deal??
