well the great thing about PayVu is that it sort of fills the gap between an app like receipt bank and the admin work to physically make the payments for these bills (ABA files are a pain in the...). from my knowledge, there isn't an app in the Xero marketplace which allows batch payments from the accounting software but in saying and where I see a the big plus side is that it can significantly admin work and this is a Huge benefit particularly with overhead savings if you can shoot this task off to your bookkeeper who can select bills they think you should pay and send it to you for approval.
