I also see a risk for AVZ if the new decree doesn't get issued in time. With the recent decree by MoM, the reason for suspension becomes redundant. I am not a fan of BoD's decision on suspension. I don't think ASX will allow any more suspension extensions, this will be the last. The worst case scenario for AVZ is if ASX force AVZ to come out of suspension ahead of Feb 28. In this case, the SP will drop quite drastically as people panic sell. And when the decree comes, the SP may not recover well.
If the govt is genuine in sorting out the mess (I think they are), a new decree will come to Dathcom for ML. If AVZ' SP really get damaged, then CATH could step in to buy 15% from Comminere and the other 15% from Dathomir and AVZ keeping 60%. Even if AVZ faces the worst outcome initially, the SP will recover when the market realises there is certainty that AVZ and CATH together will go mining.
There is risks and possibilities.
