How long this takes and whether AVZ ends up with any share of the mine, assuming a mine is built, is unknown.
However, it may take a year or two to fully resolve and there appears a strong possibility AVZ will be dispossessed of its interests in the mine site. The ASX might delist the company by then.
The company is unlikely to be able to raise capital anymore, so its rivals could play a long game in litigation and/or pay to hold up gov decisions etc to just bleed AVZ's cash along with the general cash burn of the business.
Again, a good lesson on investing in far flung corrupt juristictions.
