    Lithium has lost its shine for sure - until they can produce a car with true 600 km range for a modest AUD$40k and make sure there are plenty of charge stations for everyone then the boom is going to be on hold.

    I had to get my motorbike picked up by a tow truck the other day for a flat tire 10km from home, the Towie said he had picked up some 93 EV's for flat batteries in last 12 months and took them back to peoples homes so they could get a charge. At same time he did about 10 motorcycles for flat tires and half a dozen out of fuel.

    FYI the EV's did not have mechanical issues. Cost to take my bike home was $160, I assume similar price for an EV.

    I was surprised when he told me how many EV's had run out of juice.
