Hi @Tizard I have seen a number of other clay/kaolin prospects in SA reporting rare earth discoveries. @setfire2thehive is far more qualified than I, but most/all I have seen are not near surface like ITM (20-30m+) and not as widespread. ITM the most promising by far, but also done the most drilling.

You would have to think with more drilling in the area though there might be more discoveries from surface.

CMX, have done drilling in the tenements adjoining Caralue (where ITM has graphite rights). They have got some initial drill results, that showed REE's but again not near surface. They are still waiting on more results i think which are closer to where Caralue is, so will be interesting to see what they produce.

I think a private company Tri-Star acquired the majority of tenements that surround ITM's. Not sure what they are doing with them.

Eyre Peninsula certainly developing as a very promising mining region though with big graphite, kaolin, iron ore and hopefully Kaolin/Rare Earth projects. All in close proximity to major infrastructure and industrial city of Whyalla!
