The Capital raise of $2.8b was to get their CET1 capital above requirements (not to pay a fine!).
They mentioned that in the context that these provisions announced will only affect their CET1 by about 30 basis points.
The market is well aware there will be an expected (separate) issue with increased B&DD provisions which will affect performance of all banks and is one of the big reasons SP's are all down.......................
