Very happy with this announcement. Not surprised that many groups look happy with EPM stepping in again at this historic mine. The only way to actually clean up the environment pollution caused by over 100 years of mining is allowing mining again. The old tailings that have economic value have been leaching into the ocean since they were first dumped. The road all the way to the dock is paved in tailings and is leaching already. This is like the second most polluted place in Greenland already so reprocessing tailings and mining in this place makes environmental sense in my eyes.
The tailings, road ect contain 165g/t of silver alone and ignoring everything else.
Look forward to a big year will drilling in the pit to confirm reserves down there and on the hill for REE.
