The Aghien Lagoon located 73 kilometres south-east of Abidjan city, is the Ivory Coast’s largest freshwater reserve. Fluence will construct an intake in the lagoon, as well as a pipeline to carry the water to the treatment plant. The treated water will then pass through water towers before being conveyed through the supply network to the beneficiaries.
As an idea of how importantly significant this whole project is to IC, I would like to post a background stidy researched in 2016 as abackground study to the project. Hopefully, this gives some assurance to long term shareholders and a sense of security that this project is a watershed project for FLC.
