I did a proper evaluation of the VSP and VIN a bit before Christmas. It is still on a machine I can refer to. There have been no product updates, so as far as I am aware I still have the latest version. IWG are still talking to my management, and I was promised a new beta version to investigate about 2 months ago. Nothing was forthcoming. I was vaguely promised the same thing at the start of April too. We shall see what next week brings.
I have no more information on Blueriver and SecureState than what is in the public domain, so I can only speculate there, as can you of course. Blueriver looks fairly straightforward. IWG paid them $200,000 for undisclosed IP and, er, logos, and gave the Blueriver CEO a signing on package worth about $2.5m. Buying friends is easy when you have lots of shareholder's money to spend. SecureState is all a bit more mysterious, but according to the letter of intent they will have a product operational and ready for beta testing in about 3 weeks. I might be able to see a copy, depending on whether my management show an interest. Can't wait!
