The more I read this the more f#($&&@ing annoyed I am. For all the talk of US/EU development, IXR have shot themselves firmly in the foot with this announcement.
They have just entered a binding agreement to 50:50 the IP for their separation technology on a GLOBAL basis (excluding Asia and Uganda of all places), with a company that has essentially sole roots in Brazil (yes, I know they have other activities elsewhere but they are far secondary to their IAC). This, again if I read it correctly, means that all subsequent separation plants in the US/EU/South Korea will now be a 50:50 split with the new JV.
IonicTech is the feather in the cap of IXR as far as I am concerned and they have just given half of it away… grrr
