From what began with a Report of Misconduct to ASIC, (Mr Witham), I am now being directed back to ASIC via the Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services, Stephen Jones. Yet to receive the promised response from Minister Gallagher.

When the absurdity of this going around in a circle was pointed out to one of Minister Gallagher's staff she became very offensive and unpleasant and telling me she would not take another call from me. Too bad about the issue of the $610 million of public money.

Disturbing indeed.

Dear Mr Yanco

Long before this disgracefully ignorant email from the Department of Finance ASIC was well aware the Genex /J - Power TRANSACTION BOOKLET does not reveal NAIF's legal position with respect to the $610 public asset if the takeover succeeds.

Ministers King and Gallagher are responsible for the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility; not Minister Stephen Jones.

Has ASIC briefed Ministers King and Gallagher on this instance of ASIC's failure to supervise the market? A failure, despite being provided with pertinent and revealing information which has resulted in the possibilty NAIF may illegally transfer public assets to an overseas corporation?

I have again contacted, by phone, ((.50am), the office of the Minister of Finance to ensure her office knows this email is being sent and she, Minister King and Attorney General Dreyfus are fully across the issue.

Hopefully this email is not directed by Minister Gallagher' office to Minister Bowen, Minister for Climate Change and Energy?

NAIF has claimed it has kept Minister King informed on the loan/takeover but there is no evidence available to verify this claim. Perhaps Ms Greentree will shed some light on this claim for ASIC?

Has ASIC been in communication with GTLaw and MinterEllison in an effort to ensure Mr Justice Black is made aware, by them, of the important omission from the TRANSACTION BOOKLET Mr Justice Black approved?
