Hi mate, not sure you have chosen the right nic, but you can always resign and rename.

The market sometimes does funny things, even unimaginable things. The standard response is 'Mr Market knows best, and is always right'
So there must have been a reason in someone's mind to do those trades - whatever it was that is his/her right. Lets hope it worked out for them.

You are on board at a great time IMO. My call is the bull market is back and we will even see a Santa rally. So really wish you GL.

That is just my own opinion, and I trade accordingly. Not advice, you should do your own Due Diligence and Research.

IMO you should keep notes of your reasons to make any trade, helpful if future to confirm the holding. And a big help in future years to see how you thought back when you were new. Also research Rick Rule's rules and read and listen to Warren Buffett. Take it from there.
