Was thinking just the other day that with Tesla setting up deals with the major mining houses (Glencore Cobalt, BHP Nickel, not so major PLL but local US) for their upcoming future requirements it was only a matter of time before another major player came in for Vale’s output. Of course embedded within Vale’s Brazilian framework is Ctm and Jaguar in the form of an early stage off-take agreement between the two and as per latest ann a likely intention to include POX in future studies/production. Combined with an already attractive, staggeringly low capex figure and savings brought about by this synergy between Vale and CTM the market is finally waking up to these factors imo. Not saying it will be Tesla per se and I see other suitors eyeing it off and hoping to snaffle it before Tesla do.
