Once just for a lark and because I had some spare cash (and I thought maybe it was crazy enough to work) I bought a minimum holding of stocks that matched my kids names (either the name itself or the initials matched)
They all lost and at least half went out of business
Scratched that off my list of techniques - pity as it was easier than research, FA and TA...
