PM Scott Morrison again acknowledging the importance of critical minerals, inc. nickel.
On 16.3.22 Morrison said"The prime minister told the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA that demand for critical minerals is increasing due to the expansion of their use in aerospace, defence and other high-end technological applications.
"This is not just an economic imperative. It is also a strategic imperative in areas vital to our national interests," he [Morrison] says.
Critical minerals, such as nickel, magnesium and other rare-earth elements, are heavily used in the manufacture of technology such as mobile phones, electric cars and solar panels".

Whilst the projects mentioned are in Australia, this is still, indirectly, relevant for CTM.
The article further reinforces the:-
. "critical mineral " status of nickel (& Russia, providing 8% of total world nickel exports, is the world's biggest exporter of nickel: sanctions etc. are very likely to cause shortfalls in nickel).
. many nickel producing countries- including Vietnam also- want support for critical minerals, & "adding value" in the critical minerals' area.
. CTM & Brazil govt. ambitions are aligning with world stategies- & geopolitical events.
