Why would they do this?
Janssen know the value of the identified screened peptides. The last thing they want is anyone else having a realistic idea of the value of any technology they may wish to employ.
In fact, it would not beyond possibility for an interested Pharma giant to spread some Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt on informal channels such as HotCopper. Anything that "scares the horses" and weakens punters grip on stock or deprives the company of viable capitalisation options plays to Pharma's strength.
The only defense is an lively, objective, estimation of the actual value of the Phylomer technology.
