This is an absolute fantastic result if you work in the downside protection that our high cash
holdings and absolute return and long/short funds offer us...well done guys and girls

So why has our SP not followed this fantastic performance....in fact it hasnt just not followed it..
it has fallen...our SP is now lower at an NTA of $1.31 than it was on 1/1/19 when our NTA was $1.11

When everyone is looking for yield and FF divy's these days....our SP is in the crapper....go figure

It seems that long only funds are the go to funds these days...and they have done well...but that is
looking in the rear view mirror IMO...the road ahead is not just up (hill), but could be flat to down (hill)
as well....so funds that profit from or cushion the down hill slope should be the go to funds soon IMO

FGX, LSF and to a slighly lesser degree VG1 and FGG....I am sure there are others as well

But I have put my money where my mouth is and have drawn nearly everything out of a Line of Credit,
that I have and backed up the truck on fgx and lsf...I am only paying 3.5% on that LOC so I wouldnt do
this strategy if i were paying >5% or the like, I am very lightly geared at present and the LOC are my only borrowings

but IMO opinion only and from what I see in the world...the mountains that we just drove up and through
could be the peak...markets are fairly fully priced if not overpriced in many cases...interest rates could go lower
but to what degree really....I admit I have thought that the markets have been overpriced for a while and have
been trying to short the nasdaq100...yeah, not a good idea right...so far I havnt gone all in but down $5k or so in total

But I digress,
I really think FGX is misspriced now, well over 10% discount from NTA for a fund that has done quite well, the
discount pushing the yield up to well over 4% fully franked and with a few years of franking credits in the bank,
the steady raising of the divy as well is a real good idea, unlike some who have a good year and juice the SP
with a sugar hit by paying out all the profit as ff divy's

These are clearly just my thoughts and not investment advice, I dont get paid enough to offer investment advice
