Amazon Australia has been around for a few years now. But yes, still fairly early days for them. Yes, they're a threat. KGN's warehousing & logistics issues were extreme in the pandemic reversal, but I thought were very well managed prior. KGN uses 3rd party warehousing. This has benefit of reducing fixed costs & investment - which in prior years has been very effective for KGN. But yes, during the latest hiccup has resulted in additional costs. Swings & roundabouts, no? I'd rather not assume hiccups are permanent.
In truth, I'm not sure what's a bigger threat to KGN, Amazon or the legacy retailers (as they increasingly flex their 'omni' muscle).
