One of the best things to look at is Oleg's interview with Alan Kohler from almost exactly 2 years ago

    https://www.intelligentinvestor.com.au/investment-news/droneshield-sees-tailwinds-in-global-uncertainty/151186

Here is an example or two from that interview

Kohler: Will you have to go to the market for more cash at some point?

Oleg: No, we’re not expecting to go to market for cash in the foreseeable future, that’s where we stand.

Less than a year later Oleg sold 120 M shares into the market in a huge CR

Kohler: Okay, so, what’s your likely cash situation now going forward. When you say you’re just about cash breakeven in March, do you think you’ll stay cash breakeven or is that going to slip back into burning cash again?

    Oleg: I anticipate so.

Oleg: if we get about $20-25 million of cash receipts a year, we become breakeven and that is our target for this year

It was seven quarterly reports later that DRO first became cashflow positive. It did not become breakeven in 2022, and DRO has only just became breakeven this year and not at $25 million cash receipts, but at $73 million

Oleg: we hopefully get some of the really company transformative orders, we’re talking $20-30 million type orders hopefully later this year

There were no orders above about the $10 M that year. The following year there was one for $33 million

This example is not a presentation but is a broad indication of whether DRO meets its claims because Kohler asks a lot of direct and specific questions.

Virtually everything that Oleg said about the financials in the interview failed to come to pass. This is why people like @redblue are very negative on the stock. Basically Oleg failed to deliver on his claims and many shareholders had disappointing results.

I am cautious on the stock, because as you can see from this post, I do my research. It's Investing 101 to go back a couple of years, look at management's promises and see whether management delivers on them. It is fair to say that maybe Oleg will deliver on the current promises, that people change and maybe Oleg has got better in that respect. But I think it is also fair to say that history is providing a warning about getting too excited about DRO, particularly about its management who are waving a few red flags. Again, that is not to say that DRO won't turn out to be very profitable, just that it's not all chocolates and roses. I've done pretty well out of DRO in the six months that I held them on and off, but that profit came from a little bit of scepticism and I sold out and bought back at lower prices 7 times on the back of that scepticism when shareholders got overly excited, and is why I am currently out of the stock. I could be wrong this time - 7 is an all time record for me of doing that, asn is because of the deeply polarised views on the stock. I guess time will tell whether I'm out for good.
