Hi Henry, I'm unsure but there are interesting questions of a similar sort being asked on the DLI threads. The project had a carrying value of $13.856m in Delta's 2023 accounts and they wrote the asset value down to $4m in the recently published 2024 AR. Delta shareholders got a $9.8m write down so Javein are basically getting the asset at well below cost (to Delta shareholders).
Depending on your preferred cut-off the table below lists the JORC resource
After the write down the DLI net book value was $4.2m - $0.8m = $3.4m which is very close to the purchase price. Its unclear as to whether JAV was in discussions as the accounts were being finalised or JAV seeing the new book value Delta had decided to make an offer of approximately that book value.
