Interesting thought as I recall Beach, via Lattice, have an interest in Waitsia.
How about a 'merger of equals'!!! That may be interesting....
Would be surprised if Santos, with GLNG supply challenges and a strong interest in WA, would just sit around and watch.
Anyway, it's all a bit early for this sort of speculation. Say during September, if some of the indicators that PSI said to look out for are happening then all of the above moves into the realms of possibility.
Patience still required. IMO the short-term SP kick has been a catch-up with a likely seller gone and a small re-rating with the COS increasing and site testing moving to game-on phase.
For the long-termers (I'm one of them) we've had plenty of practice with patience. Another couple of months is well worth the wait!!
