ESP's are typically pretty reliable
Having said that they can fail at any time, they love to be online and not stop started.
The main problem is water contact to the pump
You don't service ESP's, you replace them when they fail, this is due to the cost of a work over rig "WOR"
Were I work we have had them last for 4 years + which is pretty good going but we have also had the fail in a few months ( unlikely)
Hopefully they have duty standby generators so as when servicing the engines they don't stop the ESP's
