re: Ann: JB HI-FI NOW to change the way Austr... I bought inyo JBH yesterday. Mid to long term I hink it is a very good hold. I expect steady price recovery over the next year or two and solid dividends.
A lot of talk about online trading killing of traditional retail but I think there's still a place for quality bricks and morter retailors (it's the low quality ones that may go under or get taken out). And in the tech/electronics space I think JBH is the market leader in Australia with a very strong brand.
Continuing to expand, has a good business model and excellent management. There's also been talk recently of consolidation in the indistry and JBH has been mentioned as a possible takeover target (WOW mentioned as a possible buyer).
