You would think they would check these announcements for errors before publishing them.

For example:
"This is an important document and requires your immediate attention.  If you are in any doubt about how to deal with this document, you should contact your legal, financial, tax or other professional advisor immediately."

Should read:
"This is a pointless document but still requires your immediate attention.  If you are in any doubt about how to deal with this document, you should put it in the nearest waste paper basket, recycling bin or paper shredder immediately."
