I'm not sure you understand exactly how people with disabilities live in the community currently. My partner is a full time carer for disabled people who live in community homes and they have to look after themselves as much as possible.

They do their own shopping, cooking and cleaning under supervision and a lot of them work as well.

Assisted living has come a long way over the years and having seen it first hand I know that new technology will greatly improve their lives and also the lives of their carers.
