Agree coto. Goldies are all suffering and it seems strange given the soaring gold price.
But maybe that is the issue? Maybe the trump effect and its result of a rapid rise in gp have come to a conclusion. He’s now playing ‘relatively nice dickhead’ with China so the bullion and gold stock buyers are thinking the run is at its peak. And they are taking some profits.
Possibly goldie share prices are just plateauing/stabilising. Or the technical term - a correction. Maybe 21c is Auric’s approx fair value at the moment. Same with Horizon - which we both hold. I suppose the market sets ‘fair value’ even if some market practices seem unfair.
I don’t discount the fact that there will also be some shorters etc taking advantage of small caps, and of course there will be serious accumulators attaching themselves to the daily movements.
Mid to long term it would not surprise me to see a much larger entity attempt to sweep up a pile of small caps crumbs into their clutches. Success makes you a target, and to me both AWJ and HRZ are valid targets.
Btw, I have no real f’ing idea and don’t buy/sell anything on my advice.
