I think that the majority of people are assuming that the US$50m equity raise clause was only inserted to entice investors into the US100m Corporate bond issue.
What if there was a strategic investor(s) (corporate or US Government) that indicated that they wanted to place US$50m+ equity but would only do so on the condition of raising US$100m of debt first?
