My reservation was broader and more pointed than that.

JRV has three key assets: a Cu Co mine project, a Ni Co refinery and a Co products business. They are geographically distant and there are few obvious linkages between them.

When JRV began exploring expanding Kokkola, I suggested duplicating that Co powders business in the USA instead.

Now we have the idea of a Co refinery in the USA, funded by the US Government, just as mine development is suspended. Further, resource definition drilling yields a modest increase in grade and a small decrease in Resource.

While the company announcement above was beautifully written, I am obliged to view the overall strategy as utterly incoherent.
