Big companies aren’t interested in small mines or in small complex mine clusters. They look for scale. Even mid tier miners like OZL are probably looking for more scale, and possibly lower AISCs.
Happy to see KGL proceed with this, or for it to be absorbed into a slightly larger well managed company. one of the key things from here is going to be building up a capable team for project development and operation. I suspect talent is currently scarce.
PS Happy to have topped up earlier in the week at 51, was feeling foolish for a couple of days, now wishing I’d taken a bigger bite.
