Who knows what’s really going on, my suspicions are that the rig locations are probably not regularly updated on the latshaw site, LinkedIn etc don’t seem to be regularly updated. Maybe rig 14 is on the way.
If you are interested you can use the Google satellite view to see the latshaw drilling lot, which has a number of rigs around which is from sometime this year, I didn’t try to count them or anything. would be great if those images were updated more often.
to me all this “research” via satellite imagery, rig locations is etc all just a bit of fun to try to pass the time, and helps to better understand a bit more about the industry while we wait for news.
so far there doesn’t seem to be anything to indicate timelines are slipping, so let’s patiently wait while for spud.
I don’t send to be able to get any more imagery after the 7th, so we may va all have to wait for the 5-daily sentínal images.
