I've been watching from the sidelines, so just some general commentary;
It can often take 2-4 weeks to do the QAQC, interpretation and modeling of conductors from an airborne EM program. If MAN received the results just before Christmas, this is to say the data was delivered to the consultants to do the modelling. The consultants, many of whom I deal with, didn't get back on deck from Xmas until 14th january, maybe later.
SO it's ~4 weeks from mid January, at the best. Add a week of embuggerance from the lockdown 2 weeks ago, and maybe another week as people worked from home instead of faffing about with masks, and you're end of February at the earliest, before preliminary results can be released. The compan would ordinarily want to have some meetings about the preliminary results, come to agreement about whether to do further modeling on some of the anomalies, and then finalise the report. So, mid-march wouldn't be too long.
The issue facing any explorers in the wheatbelt is that the farmers, whose cropping leases underlie your EL's, will want to sow crops March-April-May. This will sterilise the ground for exploration, in a broad sense, until October-November unless the compensation agreement allows the explorer to drive on to cropped land and compensate the farmer for the crop thus destroyed or damaged. This would, speaking generally, not be the usual compensation agreement. This may also not apply for sheep farming, dairy farming, etc. But again, it will depend on the disruption to the farm caused by drilling, on when and where it can go ahead (eg; lambing season is often off limits).
So, when can Mandrake drill?
That's a good question.
Should investors consider the impact of land use underlying the EL's, and the telescoping of timeframes to complete work programmes around cropping, or in the Pilbara Law Buisiness periods? Absolutely. Remember, the rocks have been sitting there 2.9 billion years, they aren't going anywhere over autumn and winter.
