Those who thought that DLE was a pipedream were lulled into a false sense of security because no one tried very hard while the Lithium slump was occurring.

Now after the massive rebound and realisation (apart from GS) of the size of the shortage of Lithium, a lot more time and money is going into DLE research.

And as you say, in terms of Geography, US basically only has Lithium in clays.

JRL would be rubbing its hands together - so much tech progress - and JRL not inputting too many of the research dollars at this time.
