I think you mean Howard Coleman of Teaminvest (TIP). The TIP selection process is fairly rigid and conservative and if Howard on behalf of the TIP group gave it a buy, I would be interested to know the reasons. Will have to listen. I hold JLG on the basis of historical financials and it having a record of increasing EPS growth over a number of years. Of course, that metric doesn't include possible mismanagement or the greed factor in taking over new companies before you have bedded down the last lot! Disregarding the CAT business, (which in effect is a bit of a lottery) their other property businesses which are a virtual necessity in strata management should be doing OK. Of course, that's not to say that one part of the business is not bleeding the other half dry !! It appears as though Didiers Byron Bay purchase may have distracted him ?
