That's right @bigal36 the rules were written for their mates and that is everything that is wrong with the Job Keeper Scheme design.
It did nothing for our most vulnerable small businesses (hospitality, cleaning, home services, child care, visual and performing arts etc) and everything for the deep pockets who are generous donors to both sides of Parliament.
Regrettably, corporate law (and investor proxies/super funds) require directors to do everything they can within the rules to maximise profits $$$. In the directors' code of ethics, it's totally ethical. It's unethical not to do it.
That's their bind and that's what makes this uneasy money.
