I know it is more complicated but Socionext must have evaluated the FPGA and the ADE for the purpose of collaborating in the design of the AKIDA1000 chip and before announcing that it will be offering its SynQuaser platform with AKIDA1000.

On this basis when the engineering samples are delivered they should be in a very advanced position to test whether it is up to specification without undue delay.

So whether it is hours, days, or a few weeks compared to the last 10 years of development it is not long at all until AKIDA1000 can be unveiled to the world.

None the less it still feels a little like sitting in the back of the car when I was a child asking "Are we there yet?"
