The following is just specualtion from myself.
The agreement state it is with magnis and celgard.
Magnis role in rhe consortium is establishing the supply chain for the factories they are involved with
Magnis have entered into this joint development agreement as Magnis. They have as incentive guaranteed that as the part owner in charge of material supplies and sourcing, through the JDA Magnis is able to agree to use the jointly developed separator in their partly owned factory operations. Just a guess without actually reading too much into it. Makes sense to me
