Strange discussion - lender of last resort debt usually charges an arm and a leg...that is not consistent with what ECA debt is...low cost and long term!
In fact ECA debt is the best sort of debt in town to me. It's strategic debt usually indicative of a Governments desire to underwrite development and delivery of a commodity to its shores. The localisation of battery supply chains is early in its transition away from China and will require action by Governments to secure. One step in that process could likely be...ECA debt. First in best dressed.
