After yesterday's run-up, and this mornings pre-open, a red day was almost guaranteed (sadly the day trader in me didn't come out, for me to sell some at open to buy back later). We will likely finish around 48ish. Then it's over to the German market to determine tomorrow's outcome. I think the announcement will bode well to them and push FYI to new highs overnight.
There's no rational reason why this announcement would warrant a sell-off, considering it's greatly derisking the Alcoa JV. I'm 99.998% sure the JV will go ahead by the sounds of things
After reading it a few times, I think it's a brilliant announcement. Back to 50's tomorrow.
