It's not DSO, it requires beneficiation. End quality is apparently between 61 and 62% ore with lowish impurities. You'd have to read through the Brockman reports of about 3 to 5 years ago where they've provided details of the ore quality post beneficiation. The main benefits of the Brockman 400 MT ore (post beneficiation) at Marillana is that it's detrital and doesn't need blasting to extract, contributing to lower mining costs. The fines are also claimed to have produced quite good sintering results (also in reports a few years back).
