In the next 2 years we now also have another avenue of positive announcements as both Gold and Lithium ramp up, so lots of 'growth' in the company that the market looks for.
A lot of people were probably waiting for this announcement to sell, easily seen in hindsight, but for me this sale to Ganfeng changed to outlook. Instead of greater short term profits, that a high priced sale would have caused, we are now the owners of a long term project that our partner would be very keen to get underway.
Lithco (I hope we get a real name soon!) could become the main source of Ganfeng's spodumene in the future. I think they will want the first stage built quickly, but will also be very interested in exploration and further expansion of Goulamina. The pricing mechanism, tied to downstream products gives them great stability within their own business.
I understand why Kodal share price with a lithium deposit next to ours went up, Ganfeng would be looking for a lot of spodumene in the area and some type of future deal between Lithco and Kodal, if we don't find a lot more on our land.
Short term profit takers and end of financial shenanigans will be finished within 2 weeks IMHO, then the real announcements that will boost SP can keep happening. The next big announcement I'm looking forward to is the increased Gold production based on using pit 5 ore. There will be nothing like cashflow increases to make the market pay attention.
6 months ago the SP was below 15c, I'm very happy with how things have developed, with everything going according to plan, including the SP tripling in that time. If we just double in the next 6 months, I'll still be very happy. When I bought in initially, it was for the Gold alone. I placed zero value on the lithium, as a result of yesterdays announcement I now have a bottom value of at least 90c/sh for the lithium alone, with over $1 for the gold alone. Neither valuation needs any outsized luck to happen, just a lot of work, with plenty of upside for more discovery, and development of both Lithium and Gold.
