Keep in mind uranium is sold as unprocessed ore to a end user who will process and resell, whereas natural graphite is a processed / finished product (raw material) and not one company is the world purchases graphite contained ore to process themselves.

The so called "price guidelines" are supplier generated with NO CUSTOMER input or pricing dissemination...hence suppliers provide the lowest prices at the highest volumes which applies to maybe 10% of the total market consumption (i.e. refractories, steel, foundry)...did it ever occur to anyone that 99.5% of all pricing information comes from China? Biased information.
